Do you want to work in the UK?
If you have EU settlement status and are considering coming back to the UK for work, we’d love to help! There are many reasons to work in the UK right now. From increased vacancies, to increased pay, our team share their top 4 reasons to come to the UK.
Record number of job vacancies
The UK is currently experiencing a jobs boom. With record numbers of vacancies currently available, there has never been a better time to secure work. We currently have over 1.2m vacancies, which is more than 58% more than this time last year!
Pay increases for work in the UK
Due to the increased demand for labour and a shrinking availability pool, pay is increasing in every sector. In the last 3 months, the UK has experienced the sharpest drop in candidate availability for nine months. Therefore, companies are having to pay increased wages to attract workers. This is great news for you. In April this year, we will see another increase in our National Minimum Wage. This means that the hourly rate for people aged 21-22 will rise to £9.18 an hour, up from £8.36. Additionally, National Living Wage for over-23s will increase to £9.50.
In the UK, you also are likely to receive longer paid holidays than in most areas of the EU. 20 days is the minimum holiday allowance for a full-time worker. Plus, depending on the job, you can also have an additional 8 days bank holidays.

The UK has one of the biggest manufacturing economies. Therefore, job security is high. At CSP, we are even able to offer annualised contracts to provide you with even more job security.
Strengthen your skillset when you work in the UK
When you come and work in the UK, it’s also possible for you to receive training. Lots of the companies we are working with have training plans for their workers. With on-the-job training, you can learn new skills and develop your career. Many of our workers, after a period of temporary work, have actually been employer permanently by the company. This can create even further career opportunities in the future.
