CSP Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a talented Operations Team Leader to join a waste recycling company based in Hartlepool, Durham.
The position is on an initial temporary basis, but upon successful completion of a 3 month trial period, you will be transferred onto the company’s contract
Working on a shift pattern of a 12 hour shift of 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am, Monday to Friday & the hourly rate is £13ph on Days and £14ph on Nights.
This company also offers free vocational training which gives you a an official qualification in a work related course
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER:
- Ensuring that the production lines are functioning in an effective, efficient manner and following the set KPI’s
- Adhering to all Health & Safety site protocols and to work closely with the Shift Manager to improve and implement positive changes
- Motivating a small team of operatives (up to 10) through good communication, training and development
- Daily team briefs to ensure all operatives are aware of production schedule
- Carry out various hygiene tasks including the monitor and implementation of PPE equipment to all staff
- Rotation and Organisation of labour within their area of control
EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND FOR THE OPERATIONS TEAM LEADER:
- You will have worked in a fast paced and targeted environment (ideally within recycling, waste management or manufacturing)
- Have at least 1 years experience in a Team Leader/Supervisory position
- Have at least 1 years experience of working with MHE, stock control and relevant systems
- Strong Health and safety awareness/background
- Be motivated by participating in free Vocational training
