Hygiene Manager

CSP Recruitment are looking for a Hygiene Shift Manager to join a modern Bakery facility based in Kettering.

They are currently looking for two hygiene managers, one for their days operation (6am / 6pm) and one for their nights operations (6pm / 6am)

Main Duties:

• To liaise with the production planner and scheduler to ensure that cleaning windows are planned in accordance with operations delivery targets.
• To identify opportunities for improvement/innovation and to develop and implement action plans in conjunction with the Hygiene Manager/Engineering Manager to maximize potential benefits of such opportunities for the business.
• Ensure best practice is adopted and update these to achieve delivery of food safety, inclusive of: Level of equipment dismantling / method / frequency / staffing, chemical specification / products / strengths / cost, equipment requirements / modifications / support
• To ensure all resources are available to facilitate continuity of hygiene operation, including but not limited to plant, equipment, cleaning materials, labour, skills & other

Essential Criteria:

• Previous FMCG / Food experience within Hygiene Department
• HACCP trained
• COSHH trained
• Previous management experience
• IT literate

Hours of work:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Day shift hours are 06:00 – 18:00 and night shift hours are 18:00 – 06:00.
